Overall, I'm very satisfied with this camera. The video quality is excellent for recording what happens on the road, and in good lighting conditions, license plates are clearly readable. The integrated rear light is outstanding and is one of the best features of this device.

The only downside is the audio recording. The microphone volume is extremely low, and the recorded sound is barely audible even when played back at maximum volume.

Despite this issue, I would still recommend it because the video quality and rear light make it a great choice.

I use the NT301 as a front camera. I am hoping RAVEMEN will create a front light camera unit that is similar to the dimensions and hookup (Garmin computer on top) as the FR160 or FR300.

Off the top, I’m impressed with products I have purchased from Ravemen. Good, solid items for the price paid. Reliable. I’m very happy with the performance. 1. Could it be a little brighter background for the direct sunlight? It’s hard to see those dots. I still use a Third Eye mirror just because I’m older not because the radar doesn’t work well.
2. I recently used it as part of a metric century ride. The battery lasted the 5+ hrs I was on the road.
3. The charge up time is a little long but quick enough to be ready the next day. I like that the Ravemen charging ports use the same charging port system. I only need one cord for the 3 items I use on endurance rides.
4. Sometimes due to terrain features blocking the signal, it seems the vehicle is “on top of me” before it’s anticipated.
I have read a 3rd party review of it but yours was compared to other more sophisticated systems and much more expensive. For my needs, this one fits my needs and helps me anticipate actions of other vehicles. It also picks up cyclists when I’m on single track trails. Big plus!
